We’re all driven by Needs and Wants… and more often than not they’re in direct conflict with each other.

Our Needs are life and death. They dictate our survival. Our Wants are the childish cousins who like to run the show with their selfishness – tugging us away from the path to indulge in their basic desires.

Exploring Needs and Wants helps us easily change how we play a scene, immediately bringing in a level of depth or truth we may not have touched on otherwise.

In this class we’ll be exploring what happens when we drop into our Needs and operate from that place, and then, as the same character under the same circumstances, we shift the focus to our selfish Wants.

Often, we are unaware of our Needs or Wants running the show at any given time. These different through lines are always operating and determine the outcome of our lives and our Art.

Once you learn how to trust and shift your Needs and Wants, your work as an Artist and how you move through the world will be forever changed.
